Somebody ate the cookies - or actually brownies - we thought Santa might be bored w/ cookies. At this point I thought it was pretty cool - Ty stopped the entire family (while facing a tree overstuffed w/ toys) and asked everyone to say an individual prayer and remember what the real importance of Christmas is:)
And then on to presents of course. MeMe had been working on an afghan for Britain for quite awhile and Britain loves it and sleeps w/ it every night. I'm wondering how that will work out this summer w/ our no A/C socal house.
Aunt Aryn did not want Britain to be deprived of our generation's most coveted Christmas gift. MeMe has finally caught up w/ the times w/ a digital camera (perfect for her china trip.) Poor Jimmy - might have been a little overwhelmed post Polk Christmas Eve / Christmas morning - and still has the Barlow's to go that afternoon - welcome to the family!!!!!!!! Wait til next year w/ Abbie:) Aunt Aryn doesn't mind being spoilt/overwhelmed at Christmas. Especially by a new hubbie who knows where her wish list is on amazon.com Although - I'm not sure Aryn got much spoiling from Santa this year - it appeared most gifts were for the future baby Abbie.
Time to check out the new toysAnd calm down w/ some warm milk after all that excitement.
And then on to the Barlow Christmas where we met the future Mrs. Brian Barlow - who just got married a couple of weeks ago. Yes - I do realize I'm a little behind on my blog:)
Everyone got to see Aryn and her beautiful pregnant belly and also see her for the first time as Mrs. Knight. Then more present time - there are a ton of cousins these days and the kids played very well together. Cousin Jordan loving on Celia a little bit and cousin Brooke - so great to see every one AT Christmas this year instead of somewhere in the vicinity of December 25th. We finally got to meet Andy Pandy this year - and Ty and Britain still talk about him they liked him so much.
