Surf Camp really is fun:)

Britain and Cara tandem surfing:)

Ty and Carter did the big kids surf camp this year where it was all surf time - no boogie boarding and it was perfect for them.

Here's Ty - he has since taken a second week of surf camp and starts his third week Monday with his own used surf board I bought last week.  We are super excited for him.  I might even take a lesson or two.

Carter had great balance and weighs a little more which helped him not get washed 1/2 a mile down the beach.  Every time Ty tried to wade out he practically washed down to the next lifeguard tower.

Cara figured out how to make the instructors do all the work:)

Although Cara caught some good waves too

And then there's Britain

Britain is going to big kid surf camp this next week with Ty -  with a break Tuesday to go to Wild Rivers (a water park) and celebrate her 7th Birthday

She smiles even when inhaling 2 gallons of water
Boogie boarding is more her passion right now - she even won a raffle at school this year and got a new boogie board we've had a lot of fun with this summer

The beach kids class that Britain and Cara were in had the sweetest teenage girl instructors - there yellow shirts made me think of a momma ducks and their ducklings

I love this picture - it looks like the instructors are saying "look what you can do one day:"

A little tandem action
And then of course warming up in the warm sand:)

Such a different life you lead down there! Looks like fun...maybe your kids can give JJ a lesson next time we visit!?
